The past couple of months I have had a surge of creativity. I awake early in the morning with vivid pictures of paintings in my mind's eye.
I see the art so clearly, it's almost as if I had already painted the piece. I am so grateful to my collectors that support my art.
Believe it or not, in many ways they are muses for each heart.

Jennifer Contini Enderby's mixed media artwork
"Freedom in Him"
sold to a collector in  Battery Park City, Manhattan.
The piece represents freedom in Christ.

JENNIFER CONTINI ENDERBY 2012

"Her Swag"
12x12"
mixed media on canvas
$375

Jennifer Contini Enderby’s mixed media works on canvas express a childlike inner essence, something that the artist terms “the joie de vivre of the deep heart's core.” Communicating her love for the city of New York in exuberant, vividly colorful works on canvas, Jennifer utilizes acrylics, metals, resins, plastics, marbles, maps and signs that she salvages from her urban environment. Presenting a veritably kaleidoscopic view into the artist’s unique imagination, these almost sculptural creations highlight the visceral connection between blank canvas and image-maker. Characterized by thickly applied paint and emotional force, the works seem to reach out to their audience. Recalling the merry mayhem of childhood through
their sheer tactility, Jennifer's use of text and
liberal doses of climactic color offer a rejuvenating balance of innocence and wisdom.
Born in Ohio, Jennifer Contini Enderby has lived in New York City since 1993. She received a BA in Art History from Purchase College, SUNY and has exhibited widely in the United States and abroad including exhibitions in Italy, France and Canada. She donates some of the proceeds from the sale of her art to charity.

Silver Little Loves

(love this photo) A collector of mine sent me this photo of her shelf in her apartment where she placed her silver heart that I painted. She lives in Harlem and collects glass, pewter and silver pieces from all around the world.
These small 5x5" hearts sell for $75 and I love making them. They are perfect gifts for weddings, showers, Christmas, Bat Mitzvah's, birthdays etc... and best part is that each heart is an original painting. xx

My artwork hanging in our kitchen window downtown Brooklyn
reminds me of how calm I become when I return to the city.
Most may think it is the opposite of course, being that NYC is considered the
"City That Never Sleeps"....
I on the other hand, find quietude and peace out these windows.
I am inspired to create and to fill every corner of this urban place with God's grace.

Yesterday I had an amazing day! I delivered and helped in hanging my clients artwork in their apartment... (a surprise wedding gift from the bride to her groom who recently married by the sea)
I realize that my art goes beyond the mixed media painting...there is this kind of energy, light & hope in each piece I am commissioned to make...and the inspiration, well, it goes hand in hand with my awesome clients.

Art benefits people because it provides healing and hope!
I like to think of my art as a reflection of God. When the sun's rays hit our sculpture, it lights up and people around it smile. Making others smile when viewing my art is very pleasing to me.
My husband and I have goals to sell these heart sculptures all over America!

I already see them in front of corporations, churches, hospitals, schools, parks etc...

Enjoy the video....the process and journey of our sculpture

What inspires a "Ma" to paint?
LOVE.
Children.
GOD.
"THAT KIND OF LOVE"
print available on Etsy
photograph above by Jennifer Contini Enderby
Art is healing...
I paint and create art hand-in-hand with God.
My three children, Katerina, Nico and Leo inspire much of my artwork.

STEP INTO THE SEA PRINT ABOVE FOR SALE ON ETSY
Leo
His faith in God has made me a stronger believer.
His JOY is refreshing!

Leo tells me he wants me to be a stay at home mom until he is 18 ;-)
SO I PAINT...
& I CONTINUE TO BELIEVE...

The Blue Grotto  (first overseas art show in Italy)

HELLO ITALY!
View from our balcony

My art has sold overseas many times since my first show in Rome 2009.
God continues to bless my work.
His love is extravagant and  once you feel this love, you can't turn back.

I don't think I will ever have enough words to thank Carol Markino (my childhood babysitter) for submitting my artwork to the gallery in Rome... she just believed in me.
She continues to give me support at at all my international shows.
THANK YOU CAROL! THANK YOU CAROL! THANK YOU CAROL! THANK YOU CAROL! THANK YOU CAROL! THANK YOU CAROL! THANK YOU CAROL!  ;-)
(I will never get you lost on a winding staircase in Paris again)

I paint and sell my original work and prints so I can bless the homes of others.
I know that my artwork is coming from a greater place that captures my faith, heart  and that kind of love.

These 3 pieces were painted in Brooklyn, photographed on the streets of Manhattan, exhibited in LA and traveled back again to NYC... where they finally found their home to a buyer who walked into the SoHo gallery like a angel. My message to artists? Keep the faith & keep creating...because success is in being humble. loves.
