The past couple of months I have had a surge of creativity. I awake early in the morning with vivid pictures of paintings in my mind's eye.
I see the art so clearly, it's almost as if I had already painted the piece. I am so grateful to my collectors that support my art.
Believe it or not, in many ways they are muses for each heart.

Jennifer Contini Enderby's mixed media artwork
"Freedom in Him"
sold to a collector in  Battery Park City, Manhattan.
The piece represents freedom in Christ.

JENNIFER CONTINI ENDERBY 2012

"Her Swag"
12x12"
mixed media on canvas
$375

Jennifer Contini Enderby’s mixed media works on canvas express a childlike inner essence, something that the artist terms “the joie de vivre of the deep heart's core.” Communicating her love for the city of New York in exuberant, vividly colorful works on canvas, Jennifer utilizes acrylics, metals, resins, plastics, marbles, maps and signs that she salvages from her urban environment. Presenting a veritably kaleidoscopic view into the artist’s unique imagination, these almost sculptural creations highlight the visceral connection between blank canvas and image-maker. Characterized by thickly applied paint and emotional force, the works seem to reach out to their audience. Recalling the merry mayhem of childhood through
their sheer tactility, Jennifer's use of text and
liberal doses of climactic color offer a rejuvenating balance of innocence and wisdom.
Born in Ohio, Jennifer Contini Enderby has lived in New York City since 1993. She received a BA in Art History from Purchase College, SUNY and has exhibited widely in the United States and abroad including exhibitions in Italy, France and Canada. She donates some of the proceeds from the sale of her art to charity.

Silver Little Loves

(love this photo) A collector of mine sent me this photo of her shelf in her apartment where she placed her silver heart that I painted. She lives in Harlem and collects glass, pewter and silver pieces from all around the world.
These small 5x5" hearts sell for $75 and I love making them. They are perfect gifts for weddings, showers, Christmas, Bat Mitzvah's, birthdays etc... and best part is that each heart is an original painting. xx
